In the fulfilment of our commitment to Goal 3 of Sustainable Development
Goal (SDG), Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and Every Woman Every
Child, CENTER FOR PUBLIC HEALTH a Non Governmental Organization with
special consultative Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of United
Nation and associated with United Nation Department of Public
Information (UN-DPI) has built and equipped their Hospital PINK ROSE
HOSPITAL in Abia State. Recall that The Centre for Public Health
committed $3 million through September
2018 towards eliminating the financial and geographical barrier toward
accessing quality healthcare, through a community based social Health
Insurance program. The Center for Public Health is to facilitate the
registration of 1 million people into the community Based Social Health
Insurance in Abia and Imo State of Nigeria, within the next 2 years.
This will also be combined with the upgrading of 500 primary health
centers in the rural areas as the organization will be adopting the
Primary Health Centers from the government and training of 1000 health
workers. From 4th January 2017 Center for Public Health through it
Breast Cancer Support Initiative will be registering all the Breast
